I found multiple simple problems with the room that should have been addressed prior to a guest check in. Light bulbs were out in the room, the clock wasn't set, supposed internet access was unavailable. Highly advertised hot breakfast included only make-your-own waffles and toast. The milk was sour too. There were tons of hairs covering 6 of the 8 pillows on our beds, dirt on the edge and inside the tub, slimy soap residue where the soap was laying, microwave was full of splattered food and the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. The hotel is in a state of disrepair. It didn't seem exceptionally clean, hallways dim, excruciatingly slow elevator and as previously mentioned, the pool area was bad. We only had two bath towels in the room and there were three of us, including our son. ...read more

This is the second time I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express since they have advertised the Smart Breakfast. On both stays I had to go somewhere else to get breakfast. They should advertise that they have a continental breakfast. That is all that is offered. Don't be fooled by the TV AD! ...read more

The hotel had very nice, clean rooms with in-room coffee and a continental breakfast available downstairs. Expanded cable with HBO and pay-per-view was complemented by broadband internet access. There was also an inviting, bright lobby and a very nice pool area. The highlight was definitely the staff - they were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful.
